The Treasurer of Nigerian Bar Association ,Lagos branch Foluke Akinmoladun has released guidelines for the payment of the branch dues and obtaining of receipts in preparation for the temporary closure of the branch secretariat owing to Covid-19
In her directive obtained by The Grundnorm,she stated as follows:
Good morning Learned silks, seniors and fellow colleagues. In the light of the closure of the NBA-Lagos secretariat, the following payment options are available for members to pay their branch dues:

Once the payment is done and is successful, the system generates the receipt and sends it to the recipient’s email
- Online payment transfer to Access Bank- NBA-Lagos Main Account: 0723555702
- Online payment transfer to First Bank NBA-Lagos account: 2010441132
Kindly note that you should not use mobile phone transfer codes eg *254# as your bank’s online platform may not be able to generate your electronic receipt and you will not be able to put a narration to your payment. Kindly make use of your bank’s online platform or mobile app so that you can generate an online electronic receipt which you can then print and bring to the secretariat whenever work resumes.
For all payments the narration should be NBA Lagos branch dues, year of call and insurance (where insurance is paid also).
