The Eastern Bar Forum (EBF) an association of Lawyers practicing in Abia,Akwa Ibom,Anambra, Bayelsa,Cross River,Ebonyi,Enugu,Imo and Rivers States today celebrate the birthday of a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association and Attorney General of Rivers State OCJ Okocha.
In a message signed by the Publicity Secretary, Nnamdi R Anagor,the association described him as a man whose word is his bond and a great pillar to the association. The birthday message is as follows:

Today we celebrate a legal colossus of our time, the Millennium President of the Nigerian Bar Association, a former Hon. Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Rivers State, a former Chairman and Secretary NBA PH Branch, one of the founding fathers of the Eastern Bar Forum. A man who his word is his bond, a great pillar and strong bow of the Eastern Bar Forum.

He is no other than Onueze Chukwujinka Joe Okocha MFR, SAN, DSSRS, JP Learned Silk and our 19th President, on behalf of the Governing Council and the entire membership of the Eastern Bar Forum, we say Happy Birthday to you sir.

Almighty Jehovah has seen good and strong reasons to continue to protect, guide and keep you hale and hearty for the benefit of your colleagues and for mankind. Your generosity, support and encouragement to the EBF and NBA generally is second to none.
