Air peace in a statement signed by management has explained why flight P47159 from Owerri to Lagos was diverted Portharcourt few minutes after take off.

According to the statement of 22nd of November 2021,the plane was affected by a bird strike which seriously affected the parameters of one of the engines causing the pilot to divert the plane to Portharcourt where the passengers disembarked safely .
