I heartily congratulate His Excellency, Chief Uba Anene, Esq, Chairman, Governing Council of Eastern Bar Forum, the Governing Council members, Leaders and all members of the Eastern Bar Forum (EBF) on the occasion of the Quarterly Meeting of the Forum holding in Calabar.

I am of the view that this quarterly meeting will afford the Forum another opportunity to review the very unfortunate incidences of insecurity and violence in some of the States under the jurisdiction of the EBF, and accordingly to charge the Governments at various levels to live up to expectations in the discharge of their duties of protecting lives and properties of every citizen.

I wish the EBF a very robust and impactful deliberations and most successful Quarterly Meeting in Calabar.
