The Campaign group of Chioma Ohaekelem, a candidate for secretary in the forthcoming election of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja branch has released a statement signed by Chioma Ohaekelem suspending campaign until tomorrow in honour of those that lost their lives in the sad incident.

The statement is stated below.

HONOR TO THE DECEASED CONDEMNATION OF CHURCH MASSACRE – CESSATION OF CAMPAIGN FROM NOW TILL 6AM 6/6/2022. I have heard and seen the gory pictures of helpless worshippers who were massacred inside a Church today. This is most dastardly and must be condemned. I am lost on the point being proved by the killings. The killings are needless and stand against reason. We mourn, this could have been anyone. In honour for the deceased and in condemnation of the senseless killings, I direct my campaign to stop and cease till 6.00 am tomorrow 6/6/2022. May God in his infinite mercy light their part and Grant them eternal repose. Amen.
