The leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association, Port Harcourt Branch and that of the Eastern Bar Forum paid a joint condolence visit to Mrs. Adumo Granville Abibo wife of late Sir Granville Abibo SAN KSC and management and staff of his law firm Granville Abibo & Co. on Friday, 10th July, 2020.

The Port Harcourt Branch delegation was led by the Chairman Prince Nyekwere Esq. and Cosmas Enweluzor SAN while the Eastern Bar Forum delegation was led by the Governor, S. Long Williams Esq.

The delegation was received and welcomed by Sammy Abiye Somiari Esq who gave the welcome speech. Prince Nyekwere Esq, Chairman NBA Port Harcourt Branch, Cosmas Enweluzor SAN and S. LongWilliams all delivered their condolence speeches on behalf of NBA PH Branch and the Eastern Bar Forum respectively.

At the end of the visit, M.O. Daye Esq, the head of Chambers of Granville Abibo & Co thanked the delegation for the visit and reiterated the commitment of the staff and management of Granville Abibo & Co to keep the flag of the firm flying at full mast.

Other members of the delegation were, John Iyene Owubokiri Esq. Secretary NBA PH Branch, Precious Dike, Publicity Secretary, NBA PH Branch, Leona Chikwe, Welfare Secretary, NBA PH Branch and Maduka Ume, member of the EBF Governing Council representing Abia State.

It will be recalled that Sir Granville Isetima Abibo SAN KSC a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Port Harcourt Branch died on Monday 15th June, 2020 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
